Household Manager & Family Assistant – New York

About the role

We are recruiting experienced Household Managers and Family Assistants to support families across New York. The role combines home organization, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and occasional childcare to keep households running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Daily home reset: light tidying, kitchen clean‑up, and organizing common areas.
• Manage household inventory, restock groceries and supplies, and coordinate deliveries.
• Organize closets, playrooms, mudrooms, paperwork and seasonal rotations.
• Coordinate with cleaners, vendors, and maintenance providers; handle returns, errands, and postal tasks.
• Plan and prep simple, healthy meals, shop for groceries and organize pantry.
• Pack snacks or lunches for school‑aged children and assist with family scheduling, forms, appointments and travel preparation.
• Provide optional childcare support such as school pickups, date‑night assistance, and engaging activities.

Required profile

• Organized, dependable and proactive with the ability to anticipate needs.
• Calm under pressure, adaptable to changing priorities.
• Warm, respectful and able to build trust with adults and children.
• Reliable transportation, eligible to work in the U.S., and able to pass a background check.
• Maintain a smoke‑free environment and be vaccinated if requested by the family.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Google Calendar for scheduling.
• Experience placing orders on Amazon or similar platforms.
• Comfort using shared family apps for coordination.
