Household Manager & Family Assistant – Meal Prep & Childcare

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Household Manager & Family Assistant to support our Manhattan Beach home. The role blends meal preparation, home organization, and occasional childcare, ensuring a calm, orderly environment for two adults and a toddler.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and prepare three family dinners per week, batch‑cook breakfasts and lunches, and pack school meals.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness, organize pantry and fridge, and source fresh, health‑focused ingredients.
• Conduct daily home resets, manage laundry, declutter spaces, and implement Montessori‑style setups for children’s areas.
• Track inventory, run errands, manage shopping lists, and handle vendor coordination for cleaning, repairs, and maintenance.
• Provide light childcare support, including pick‑ups/drop‑offs, backpack preparation, and occasional date‑night coverage.
• Oversee vehicle maintenance, fueling, cleaning, and documentation.

Required profile

• High‑agency, hands‑on professional who thrives on creating order and calm in a household.
• Proactive, reliable, and detail‑oriented with a low‑ego, service‑focused attitude.
• Comfortable using digital tools to organize systems and communicate with vendors.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Notion for household system management.
• CPR certification (or equivalent).
