Household Manager & Family Assistant (Meal Prep & Childcare)

About the role

We are a lively family in Northport seeking a part‑time Household Manager & Family Assistant to keep our home organized, support meal preparation, and provide occasional childcare assistance. The role is 20‑30 hours per week, with 3‑4 afternoons/evenings scheduled and flexibility for date‑night coverage. You will work directly with the family, helping create a smooth‑running household while enjoying a supportive, long‑term partnership.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain household organization systems, daily resets, and light tidying.
• Handle laundry, linen rotation, and occasional ironing.
• Prepare healthy meals and snacks, follow dietary preferences, and maintain kitchen cleanliness.
• Support children with snack prep, light supervision, and occasional pick‑up/drop‑off.
• Manage inventory, place orders, coordinate deliveries, and handle returns.
• Oversee vendor relationships, seasonal property maintenance, and outdoor spaces.
• Perform occasional deep cleans, garage/entryway refreshes, and special projects.
• Assist with family calendar awareness, receipt tracking, and travel logistics.
