House Manager & Family Assistant – Part‑time (Meal Prep Support)

About the role

We are seeking a proactive House Manager & Family Assistant to support our busy household of five and a dog. The role is part‑time, flexible and includes meal‑prep assistance, childcare, pet care and overall home organization.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain household organization systems (closets, pantry, toys, etc.)
• Reset and tidy rooms daily and prepare the home for cleaning services
• Handle trash, recycling and keep bins clean
• Prepare linens, guest areas and snack baskets for family events
• Assist with seasonal clothing swaps, holiday decorations and gift wrapping
• Coordinate inventory, run errands, manage Costco orders and donation drop‑offs
• Prepare 1–2 healthy, protein‑forward meals per week and assist with snack and batch cooking
• Provide flexible childcare support, light supervision and playtime for three boys
• Care for the family dog, schedule vet and grooming appointments, and manage pet supplies
• Oversee vehicle cleanliness, fueling, weekly car clean‑out and supply stocking
• Supervise vendors, schedule seasonal maintenance and handle special projects such as deep cleans

Required profile

• Organized, detail‑oriented and self‑motivated with a “can‑do” attitude
• Proactive communicator who asks questions to ensure tasks are done correctly
• Flexible and adaptable to seasonal travel and changing family needs
• Reliable transportation and ability to maintain a smoke‑free, fragrance‑free environment
