Handbag Designer

About the role

Clare V. is seeking a Handbag Designer to support the creation and development of handbags and small leather goods from concept through commercialization. The role works closely with design, product development, and production teams to deliver seasonal collections that reflect the brand’s aesthetic and meet customer needs.

Key responsibilities

• Create sketches, CADs, renderings, and technical drawings to communicate design intent.
• Generate and maintain detailed tech packs, specifications, and development documentation.
• Track sample status, manage delivery timelines, and follow up on outstanding development needs.
• Assist in preparation for milestone meetings such as Sketch Review, First Design Review, and market presentations.
• Review samples for accuracy, functionality, construction, and overall design intent.
• Maintain organized development files, materials, and sample references.
• Participate in weekly design and product development meetings and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
