GME Accreditation Coordinator – Graduate Medical Education

About the role

The Graduate Medical Education (GME) Accreditation Coordinator supports the accreditation activities of the UAMS College of Medicine GME office. As a member of the GME leadership team, the coordinator ensures programs remain aligned with ACGME and institutional requirements, contributing to the quality of graduate medical education.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate accreditation activities, including data entry and reporting in the ACGME Accreditation Data System.
• Prepare and distribute meeting materials, minutes, and reminders for the Graduate Medical Education Committee and subcommittees.
• Support internal program reviews, site visits, and annual ACGME updates.
• Track compliance with evaluations, milestones, moonlighting policies, and other accreditation requirements.
• Manage accreditation forms and workflows using SharePoint, New Innovations, and other institutional tools.
• Assist with responding to ACGME letters, citations, surveys, and documentation deadlines.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in health, business, or a related field, or high school diploma/GED with four years of project coordination or administrative support experience.
• Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.

Required skills

• Experience with the ACGME Accreditation Data System.
• Proficiency in SharePoint for workflow management.
• Familiarity with New Innovations software for residency program administration.
