General Cleaner

About the role

IFS is seeking motivated individuals to join its growing Cleaning Services team as General Cleaners. This full‑time, on‑site position offers flexible scheduling, including day, night, and weekend shifts, and provides a pathway to leadership within a dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Clean rooms, hallways, bathrooms, locker rooms, offices, stairs, and windows according to standard procedures.
• Sweep, remove debris, clean spills, and mop floors throughout sales and seating areas.
• Monitor and empty trash containers, collect and separate recycling into appropriate bins.
• Clean windows, mirrored surfaces, and polish stainless‑steel fixtures.
• Dust accessories, shelves, furniture, and equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of customer and team restrooms, including necessary inspections.
• Complete sweep logs and other required documentation.
• Wash walls, ceilings, carpentry, doors, and thresholds as needed.
• Report daily work progress to the supervisor verbally or in writing.
• Perform additional cleaning tasks assigned by management.

Required profile

• Ability to lift and move containers up to 49 lb and transport items weighing 15‑25 lb.
• Frequent bending, stretching, reaching, and climbing stairs safely.
• Capability to push or pull carts loaded with up to 100 lb.
• Strong manual dexterity in both hands and wrists.
• Endurance to stand and walk for up to 10‑12 hours per shift.
• Pass a background check and drug test.
• Read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedural manuals.
