Full‑time House Manager & Family Assistant with Childcare Support

About the role

We are seeking a proactive, upbeat House Manager & Family Assistant to keep our busy Indiana home running smoothly. The role blends household organization, meal preparation, and warm childcare for two school‑age children, with occasional evening coverage.

Key responsibilities

• Provide engaged childcare, plan activities, prepare lunches and snacks, and handle occasional evening coverage.
• Maintain daily resets of all common areas, manage dishes, floor care, trash/recycling, and seasonal décor.
• Oversee grocery inventory, shop or order deliveries, restock pantry, and manage household subscriptions.
• Prepare simple protein‑focused dinners 3‑4 times per week, stock breakfast items, and keep the kitchen clean.
• Handle all laundry, including wash‑and‑fold service coordination and special garment care.
• Perform periodic deep‑cleaning of appliances, baseboards, and high‑use areas.
• Coordinate vendors for laundry, cleaning, lawn care, and house repairs at both Indiana and out‑of‑state properties.

Required profile

• Calm, positive energy with high initiative; can anticipate needs without a task list.
• Dependable and punctual, regardless of weather or circumstance.
• Comfortable working in a smoke‑free, fragrance‑free, Christian household with a medium‑sized dog.
• Authorized to work in the United States, holds a clean driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
• CPR and First Aid certified or willing to obtain before start.
