Full-Time Teller – Hyannis, MA

About the role

Santander is seeking a full‑time Teller to join its Hyannis branch. In this customer‑focused role you will handle daily banking transactions, provide exceptional service, and help protect the bank against fraud.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome customers, minimize wait times and assist with their banking needs.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, transfers and maintain accurate cash drawer balances.
• Adhere to all bank policies, compliance and risk‑management procedures.
• Identify cross‑selling opportunities and refer appropriate products.
• Educate customers on digital self‑service tools.
• Assist with custodial duties, audits and other operational tasks.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and support nearby branches as needed.

Required profile

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 months cash‑handling experience.
• Minimum 6 months customer‑service experience.
• Bilingual Portuguese or Spanish preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy and risk awareness.
• Effective communication and listening skills.
• Comfortable using digital tools and technology.
• Ability to work branch hours, including weekends and evenings.

Required skills
