Full-Time Hospitalist Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner

About the role

We are seeking a full‑time Physician Assistant or Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner to join our Hospitalist Department. The schedule follows a 7‑day on, 7‑day off rotation, consisting of five 12‑hour shifts and two 10‑hour shifts each week. The role focuses on hospital rounding within a supportive environment, working closely with nursing, specialty, and discharge teams to deliver high‑quality patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily hospital rounding and patient assessments.
• Collaborate with nursing, specialty, and discharge teams to coordinate care plans.
• Apply clinical knowledge to diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary staff.
• Establish collaborative relationships across departments.
• Contribute to continuous quality‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Current state licensure as a Physician Assistant or Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner.
• Relevant certification (CRNP or PA) and CPR certification.
• Successful completion of all required background and clearance checks.
• Prior clinical experience preferred.
