Freelance Designer for Women's Apparel

About the role

Rebecca Taylor is seeking a temporary freelance Designer to support the creation of its women’s apparel collections. This short‑term position is ideal for a designer with at least three years of experience in contemporary or premium fashion who can start immediately.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Designer and Design Director to develop collections that match the brand aesthetic and commercial goals.
• Create and refine croqui sketches, CADs, and technical flats.
• Produce detailed tech packs in Excel, including bill of materials and construction specifications.
• Assist in preparing and presenting designs during internal design reviews.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience designing women’s contemporary or premium apparel.
• Strong organizational and time‑management abilities to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
