Float Community Pharmacist

About the role

We are seeking a full-time Float Community Pharmacist to join our team in the Phoenix metro area. The pharmacist will rotate among up to 30 Genoa Healthcare pharmacy sites, providing prescription processing, medication counseling, and immunization services while ensuring compliance with state regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Distribute prescription medications prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners.
• Provide customers with information about their medications and proper usage.
• Deliver a high level of customer service at each pharmacy location.
• Maintain compliance with Arizona State Board of Pharmacy laws and regulations.
• Administer immunizations as permitted by state board guidelines.
• Perform other standard pharmacy duties, including medication management and inventory tasks.
• Travel to various pharmacy sites up to 50% of the time.

Required profile

• BS Pharmacy or PharmD degree.
• Current pharmacist license in Arizona.
• Immunization certification or willingness to obtain it within three months of hire.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Availability to work Monday‑Friday, 8:00 am‑5:00 pm.
• Preferred: at least one year of pharmacy experience.
