Financial Controller – Multi-Entity Manufacturing & E‑commerce

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Financial Controller to own the full accounting function for a fast‑growing manufacturing, wholesale, and e‑commerce business. This high‑visibility position works closely with executive leadership and is based onsite daily in West LA.

Key responsibilities

• Lead full‑cycle accounting including AP, AR, payroll, and general ledger.
• Manage month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close processes and produce GAAP‑compliant financial statements.
• Oversee revenue recognition across direct‑to‑consumer, marketplace, and wholesale channels.
• Handle multi‑entity accounting, intercompany transactions, allocations, and consolidated reporting.
• Monitor cash flow, support forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning initiatives.
• Ensure accurate inventory accounting and COGS reporting across fulfillment networks.
• Drive improvements to accounting systems, ERP optimization, and internal controls.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and service providers to ensure compliance.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 + years of progressive accounting experience in CPG, manufacturing, wholesale, or inventory‑driven businesses.
• Strong ownership mindset with ability to operate strategically and hands‑on.
• Experience managing multi‑entity structures and complex revenue streams is preferred.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of GAAP and full‑cycle accounting.
• Proficiency with ERP systems such as NetSuite or QuickBooks.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong financial analysis capabilities.
