Field Service Professional – Smart Home Technology

About the role

As a Field Service Professional you will be the face of Vivint, installing cutting‑edge smart home technology while proactively identifying and selling upgraded solutions to give customers total peace of mind. This role blends technical expertise with consultative sales in residential settings.

Key responsibilities

• Install, service, and troubleshoot security cameras, smart locks, and home automation systems.
• Evaluate customer homes on‑site and recommend equipment upgrades or service enhancements.
• Train homeowners on the use of their new smart home systems.
• Participate in ongoing coaching and leadership training to advance within the national organization.

Required profile

• Sales mindset – experience in retail, B2C sales, insurance or service‑based sales is a plus.
• Customer‑first attitude with strong integrity and rapport‑building skills.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record and ability to pass background and licensing checks.

Required skills

• Security camera installation.
• Smart lock installation.
• Home automation system troubleshooting.
