Facility/Regional Safety Health & Environmental Manager

About the role

The Facility/Regional Safety Health & Environmental Manager leads cross‑functional teams to achieve operational excellence in safety, health and environmental compliance. This role drives SH&E improvements by providing leadership, developing and implementing programs, and fostering a culture where safety, health and environmental compliance are core values.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop managers and line leaders to become effective SH&E coaches.
• Develop and implement best‑in‑class SH&E programs, training, SOPs and risk‑assessment processes.
• Investigate all SH&E incidents, determine root causes and ensure corrective actions are executed.
• Maintain an audit‑ready state of compliance with company policies and external regulations (OSHA, EPA, DOT).
• Manage the SH&E budget and allocate funding to achieve safety and environmental goals.
• Oversee facility maintenance, vendor contracts, grounds safety, emergency equipment inspections and employee amenity services.

Required profile

• B.S. degree in safety, health, environmental or related discipline (preferred).
• 5+ years of experience developing and delivering SH&E programs, including lockout/tagout, confined space entry and waste management.
• Knowledge of ISO 14001, OHSAS 45001, LEAN and TPM concepts.
• Strong familiarity with OSHA, EPA and DOT regulations.
