Experienced Ford Service Technician – High Pay

About the role

Mills Automotive Group is expanding its service department in the Harvey/New Orleans area and is looking for experienced Ford Service Technicians. This is a flat‑rate position with a competitive base rate and the potential to earn significantly more for certified Ford technicians.

Key responsibilities

• Perform repairs, maintenance, and inspections on Ford Motor Company (FMC) vehicles.
• Handle chassis, brake, suspension, electrical, and engine repairs as a line mechanic.
• Conduct multi‑point inspections and use diagnostic test tools to identify service needs.
• Document work and create repair orders using the dealer’s electronic system.
• Attend required manufacturer training sessions.

Required profile

• Own a complete set of tools.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background and substance‑abuse checks.
• Professional appearance and strong communication skills.
• Outgoing, team‑oriented personality.
• Technical certification or training is a plus; state inspection license preferred.
