Endoscopy Technician – Freeway Endoscopy

About the role

The Endoscopy Technician will support the Freeway Endoscopy service within the Perioperative Services Endoscopy Lab at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. Working on a day shift, the technician ensures that endoscopic procedures run smoothly, safely, and efficiently for patients and clinical staff.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare patients and equipment for endoscopic procedures, following infection‑control standards.
• Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain endoscopy instruments and related devices during procedures.
• Perform cleaning, disinfection, and sterilization of reusable endoscopic tools.
• Assist physicians and nurses by providing necessary supplies and documentation during cases.
• Manage inventory of consumables and ensure proper storage of equipment.
• Document procedure details and maintain accurate records in compliance with hospital policies.

Required profile

• Legal authorization to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
• Ability to work the designated day shift in Little Rock, AR.
• No sponsorship available; candidates must already possess required work authorization.
