Emergency Medicine Physician – Tyler, TX

About the role

TeamHealth is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician to join the University of Texas Health Center – Tyler North Emergency Department. You will provide high‑quality, real‑time patient care in a 14‑bed ED serving approximately 11,000 patients annually.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive emergency medical care to a diverse patient population.
• Utilize EPIC and CLEO dictation for accurate, efficient clinical documentation.
• Maintain 24‑hour physician coverage and support seamless patient flow.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes.

Required profile

• Board prepared or board certified in Emergency Medicine by ABEM or AOBEM.
• Current ACLS, PALS, and ATLS certifications.
• Texas medical license and DEA registration, or ability to obtain them before start date.

Required skills

• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health record system.
• Experience using CLEO dictation for clinical documentation.
