About the role

Join SALT Service Co., a fast‑growing home‑services company in Austin, TX, as an Electrical Service Manager. You will lead a team of electricians, ensure high‑quality service delivery, and help the company meet its strategic goals.

Key responsibilities

• Mentor and guide team leads, conducting weekly performance sessions.
• Inspect trucks, audit paperwork, and verify service‑call checklists.
• Manage inventory for service calls and coordinate with other departments.
• Lead hiring, interviewing, and selection of team leads, technicians, and apprentices.
• Track department metrics such as invoice totals, callback ratios, and labor margins.
• Investigate safety issues, enforce safety protocols, and resolve tool or vehicle problems.
• Promote Club Membership benefits to customers and perform other assigned duties.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED; Journeyman or Master Electrical License required.
• Valid driver’s license approved by company insurance.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical ability, and excellent customer service.
• Team‑oriented leader capable of motivating staff to achieve results.

Required skills

• Electrical installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Blueprint, plan, and manual reading.
• Safety compliance and incident investigation.
• Inventory management and paperwork auditing.
• Use of tablet/smartphone for service software and GPS navigation.
