Electrical & Automation Engineer – Night Shift

About the role

As an Electrical & Automation Engineer on the night shift, you will lead electrical and automation activities, manage projects, and support the design, implementation, and maintenance of electrical, MES and digital systems in a food manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, manage and execute electrical and automation projects, including procurement and technical specifications.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support design, implementation, commissioning and maintenance of electrical, instrumentation and control systems.
• Troubleshoot issues, provide technical expertise and train factory operators and technicians.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, environmental and quality standards and maintain up‑to‑date documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Electrical Engineering (preferred).
• Minimum 3 years experience as a Plant Electrical or Project E&A Engineer in the food or CPG industry.
• Knowledge of electrical distribution systems (low, medium, high voltage) and local electrical codes.

Required skills

• Wonderware InTouch/Archestra, Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and SAP.
• Rockwell Studio5000 and related hardware/software.
• PLC programming, HMI, industrial networks.
• Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project.
• Familiarity with ISA 4.1, S88 standards and FDA/GMP regulations.
