Editorial Stylist, Creative Content Team

About the role

Shopbop is looking for an experienced Editorial Stylist to lead styling execution for on‑figure and off‑figure content across the website, email, and social channels. The role owns the full shoot lifecycle, turning seasonal creative direction into conversion‑focused storytelling that resonates with the Shopbop customer.

Key responsibilities

• Lead styling execution for assigned editorial stories across site, email, and social platforms.
• Own shoots end‑to‑end, from pre‑production strategy to on‑set execution and post‑production review.
• Develop strategic outfitting plans that align product focus, trend relevance, and business priorities.
• Maintain high standards for fit, proportion, and visual impact while working at high volume.
• Partner cross‑functionally with Fashion Office, Buying, Merchandising, Marketing, Art Direction, and Production.
• Contribute to casting decisions and submit detailed retouching notes.
• Navigate internal workflows, identify efficiency opportunities, and ensure styling supports inventory strategy and brand positioning.

Required profile

• 5+ years of editorial fashion styling experience in e‑commerce or high‑volume digital marketing.
• Proven ability to lead shoots independently from concept to final asset delivery.
• Deep understanding of the Shopbop customer and contemporary designer brands.
• Strong operational mindset with experience managing complex cross‑functional workflows.
• Portfolio demonstrating elevated creative storytelling with clear commercial focus.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
