District Manager

About the role

The District Manager leads multiple Under Armour retail locations, driving sales performance, operational excellence, and brand experience across the district. This strategic role combines coaching of Store Managers, execution of omni‑channel initiatives, and oversight of financial and people metrics.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute an omni‑channel strategic plan to meet sales and KPI targets.
• Analyze daily sales data and trends to make real‑time business decisions.
• Drive financial results through service, inventory control, staffing, and store presentation.
• Model Athlete service standards and selling behaviors across all store formats.
• Build customer loyalty using in‑store experience, data capture, and endless‑aisle solutions.
• Support new store openings, including recruitment, onboarding, training, and load‑in activities.
• Collaborate with Retail Operations on training programs, technology roll‑outs (e.g., RFID), and compliance.
• Maintain policy compliance, risk control, and asset protection across the district.
• Provide budget insights, develop contingency plans, and navigate organizational ambiguity.
• Motivate teams by communicating Under Armour values and leading performance‑management processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing multiple retail stores or a district in a fast‑moving consumer goods environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and adjust tactics quickly.
• Excellent leadership and coaching skills to develop Store Managers and their teams.
• Ability to drive brand standards, operational excellence, and customer‑centric culture.
• Comfort working in a dynamic, omni‑channel retail setting.
