Design & Media Instructor

About the role

The Design & Media Instructor will deliver accredited design and media courses to incarcerated students within the Georgia correctional system. Working under general supervision, you will apply proven teaching methods to help learners develop practical creative skills.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver curriculum-aligned instruction in design and media subjects.
• Prepare, administer, and grade assessments while maintaining accurate grade books.
• Maintain program compliance with Technical College System of Georgia policies and correctional facility regulations.
• Complete required reports, records, and inventory management for assigned equipment.
• Participate in professional development and collaborate with college staff on student progress.

Required profile

• Associate degree in Design and Media or a related accredited field (minimum).
• Ability to upload transcripts verifying educational credentials.
• Compliance with TCSG qualification standards and accreditation requirements.

Required skills

• Effective oral and written communication for instruction and reporting.
• Proficiency in standard teaching techniques and assessment methods.
