Cybersecurity Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Manager to lead and strengthen the security posture of our critical national‑security missions. Based in Arlington, VA, you will work with a team of professionals supporting large‑scale government operations, ensuring confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive systems and data.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and evolve a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy aligned with mission objectives and emerging threats.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate cybersecurity risks while balancing operational needs.
• Establish and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards that exceed DoD and industry best practices.
• Ensure compliance with NIST RMF, DoD STIGs, and other applicable regulations.
• Promote a strong security culture through training and awareness programs.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a diverse team of cybersecurity professionals.
• Design and execute an effective incident response plan.
• Implement a robust vulnerability management program and oversee 24/7 security operations.

Required profile

• Strategic vision combined with hands‑on technical expertise in cybersecurity.
• Proven experience mapping critical information systems to business objectives.
• Track record of conducting site assessments, developing logistical plans, and leading compliance inspections.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary teams in contractor, civilian, and military environments.
• Demonstrated ability to resolve critical security incidents and minimize operational disruption.
