About the role

We are seeking a Contract Worker to join the Clinical Health Program (CHP) within the Genetic Counseling department at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS). The contractor will support the delivery of genetic counseling services and contribute to the team’s collaborative efforts to improve patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Assist genetic counselors with patient intake, data collection, and documentation.
• Support the coordination of genetic testing processes and follow‑up communications.
• Maintain accurate records in compliance with UAMS policies and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of genetic information into clinical workflows.

Required profile

• Must be fully vaccinated against Covid‑19 or hold an approved medical or religious exemption.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
