CRM Security and Deployment Coordinator

About the role

The CRM Security and Deployment Coordinator is responsible for managing all profile and permission set configurations for Salesforce supporting both Advancement and university‑wide CRM systems at Georgetown University. This role serves as the primary system administrator, overseeing installations, updates, and integrations to ensure a secure and reliable CRM environment.

Key responsibilities

• Configure and maintain Salesforce profiles, permission sets, and security settings.
• Manage the installation, testing, and deployment of system updates, upgrades, and integrated tools.
• Provide Level II and Level III support for Salesforce users across the university.
• Collaborate with the Salesforce Success team to monitor system health and meet performance thresholds.
• Evaluate emerging CRM tools and third‑party applications for potential integration.
• Maintain strong relationships with faculty, students, technologists, and IT staff to promote effective CRM usage.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience with Salesforce development and release management.
• Experience creating and maintaining Salesforce test classes and familiarity with continuous integration practices.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities in a collaborative environment.
• Understanding of higher‑education needs and processes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
