Creative Specialist

About the role

Beast Industries, the media and entertainment company behind MrBeast, is looking for a Creative Specialist to lead the early stage of video development. The role sits at the front of the creative pipeline, turning title and thumbnail ideas into fully‑fledged video concepts that are pitched to senior leadership each week.

Key responsibilities

• Receive title, thumbnail, or brief concepts and run them through the internal AI system to generate up to 500 raw directions per video.
• Filter and refine the ideas down to the strongest 50‑100 using deep knowledge of the channel’s format, YouTube‑first principles, and audience behavior.
• Develop selected ideas into pitch‑ready frameworks, including challenge structure, elimination mechanics, key visual moments and emotional payoff.
• Present and defend the concepts in live weekly pitch sessions with senior creative leadership.
• Manage multiple concepts simultaneously, iterating based on feedback until green‑lit for production.
• Document the filtering logic and maintain a living library of challenge mechanics and visual templates.

Required profile

• Extensive experience creating or analyzing YouTube content, with a proven ability to influence retention, watch time, or audience response.
• Deep familiarity with MrBeast’s video formats, challenge mechanics and audience expectations.
• Strong editorial judgment and the ability to make rapid, data‑driven decisions.
• Comfort presenting ideas and defending creative choices to senior stakeholders.

Required skills

• Proficiency with AI‑driven creative tools (as used internally).
• Ability to generate high‑volume concept ideas quickly.
