Creative Designer – Brand, Web & Motion

About the role

The Story Shack is seeking a highly creative Designer to join its fast‑growing studio. Working directly with founders and the multidisciplinary team, you will shape brand identities and produce digital, motion, and marketing assets for a variety of clients.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop visual assets for branding, social content, digital campaigns, paid media, websites, presentations, email marketing and production materials.
• Create visual identities, logo systems, brand guidelines and campaign design systems for emerging and established brands.
• Collaborate with creative directors, strategists, editors, animators, producers and account teams to bring concepts to life across multiple platforms.
• Produce graphics and design systems for motion graphics, video content and social‑first creative, ensuring smooth hand‑off to animation workflows.
• Contribute to web and digital experiences in Figma, building user‑friendly design systems and layouts.
• Support the development of The Story Shack’s own brand and marketing initiatives.

Required profile

• 5‑7 years of professional design experience in an agency, studio or in‑house brand team.
• Strong portfolio showcasing branding, graphic design, digital campaigns, UI/UX, web basics, social content and presentation design.
• Excellent taste, attention to detail and a passion for typography, internet culture and motion.
• Ability to move fluidly between polished brand systems and fast‑paced content creation.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Figma for UI/UX and design system work.
• Experience creating motion graphics and video‑based visual assets.
