About the role
The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking a contracted Speech Therapist to join the interdisciplinary Kids First clinic in Pine Bluff. You will work with infants and children up to five years old, delivering evidence‑based evaluation and therapy for communication, oral‑motor, and feeding disorders.
Key responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive speech‑language assessments for the birth‑to‑5 population.
- Design and implement individualized therapy plans using best‑practice techniques.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other team members to coordinate care.
- Document progress and outcomes in the clinic’s electronic health record.
- Participate in team meetings and case conferences to ensure integrated care.
Required profile
- Valid Arkansas license as a Speech‑Language Pathologist or eligibility to obtain it within one month of hire.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility pending completion of the Clinical Fellowship Year.
- Master’s degree in Speech‑Language Pathology.
- Commitment to maintaining COVID‑19 vaccination requirements or approved exemption.
