About the role

The Construction Materials Testing Team Leader will oversee all operations of the West Central CMT team, managing staff in Denver and Tempe, Arizona. This senior position drives financial performance, project quality, and client service while fostering employee development.

Key responsibilities

• Lead team operations, including staff management, financial performance, and project quality.
• Establish goals and objectives, mentor employees, and oversee client service management.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, securing repeat work.
• Provide high‑quality engineering and design solutions to meet client needs.
• Travel between Denver and Tempe offices as required.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of field‑related experience and 6 years supervising technical personnel.
• Strong communication, leadership, and management abilities.
• Proven track record of exceeding client expectations and managing workloads.
• Ability to attract, develop, and retain talented staff.
• Valid driver’s license, flexible schedule, and willingness to travel.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction, planning, or related field preferred (associate degree with equivalent experience acceptable).
