Construction Assistant

About the role

McBride Homes, Missouri’s largest home builder, is looking for reliable Construction Assistants to support residential new‑home projects. You will work on‑site assisting trades, performing quality checks, and helping complete final punch‑list items.

Key responsibilities

• Manage schedules for various trades on residential construction sites.
• Perform quality inspections and assist with final punch‑list completion.
• Load, unload, and haul materials; operate hoisting equipment as needed.
• Maintain and secure job sites to eliminate hazards.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or trade training is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
• At least 2 years of on‑site construction experience.
• Ability to lift 50‑100 lb regularly and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Strong work ethic, punctuality, and reliability.

Required skills

• Experience with construction tasks and punch‑list processes.
• Basic knowledge of site safety and hazard mitigation.
