Computer Tomography Technologist

About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) is seeking a qualified Computer Tomography (CT) Technologist to join its Clinical Staff – Medical Ancillary Support team. This full‑time, day‑shift position supports diagnostic imaging services for patients across the campus.

Key responsibilities

• Operate CT scanners to acquire high‑quality diagnostic images according to physician orders.
• Prepare and position patients safely and comfortably for imaging procedures.
• Maintain equipment, perform quality control checks, and ensure compliance with radiation safety standards.
• Document imaging procedures and results accurately in the electronic health record.
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.

Required profile

• Current University of Arkansas System employee or eligible applicant with legal authority to work in the United States.
• Certification or licensure as a CT Technologist as required by state regulations.
• Commitment to patient safety, confidentiality, and high‑quality imaging standards.
