Compliance Officer

About the role

As a Compliance Officer at Invesco in Atlanta, you will ensure that the firm’s business activities adhere to applicable regulations, internal policies and ethical standards. You will work closely with the global compliance team to monitor, report and resolve compliance matters across trading and technology functions.

Key responsibilities

• File regulatory and compliance reports accurately and on time.
• Assist in responding to regulatory inquiries from bodies such as the SEC, CFTC/NFA and FINRA.
• Document and maintain all compliance procedures.
• Address day‑to‑day compliance issues related to trading strategies and technology controls.
• Prepare documentation to support reviews and demonstrate adequate processes for SEC/regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with global compliance team members to assess, monitor, test and implement compliance activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Experience with the regulatory environment (SEC, CFTC/NFA, FINRA).
• Knowledge of the Securities Act of 1933, 34, and the Securities Exchange Act of 1940.
• Familiarity with back‑office operations and securities laws is a plus.
• Ability to work full‑time on‑site in the Atlanta office.

Required skills

• Familiarity with Bloomberg or Charles River compliance components.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
