About the role
Greystar is seeking an experienced Community Manager to lead day‑to‑day operations for a new luxury high‑rise lease‑up property in Los Angeles. You will oversee a team, manage resources, and ensure the property meets its financial and operational targets while complying with all relevant regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of a 260‑unit lease‑up community, including staff supervision and scheduling.
- Develop and monitor budgets, analyze financial statements, and prepare monthly financial reports.
- Set rent rates, collect rent and fees, process bank deposits, and ensure timely posting of payments.
- Approve vendor invoices, verify insurance certificates, and coordinate with accounting and owners.
- Control expenditures within approved budgets and manage petty‑cash funds.
- Oversee lease enforcement: approve applications, process renewals, conduct inspections, issue notices, and handle evictions and late‑fee collections.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years of Community Manager experience, preferably in luxury high‑rise and lease‑up environments.
- Strong knowledge of Fair Housing, ADA, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and other multifamily housing regulations.
- Proven ability to meet revenue targets and manage large‑scale property operations.
