CoE Support Engineer

About the role

As a CoE Support Engineer at AVEVA, you will ensure the reliability and performance of client applications while providing technical assistance during site commissioning, upgrades, and expansions. You will work closely with Application Engineers and a global R&D Solution team to resolve issues and improve product functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and optimise client application performance.
• Assist Application Engineers with technical challenges during new site roll‑outs and system upgrades.
• Collaborate with the global R&D Solution team to manage escalations.
• Develop corrective actions for field‑identified technical issues.
• Resolve technical problems from end customers, application engineers, and engineering teams.
• Create and share knowledge‑base articles documenting issues and solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) covering operation, performance and quality.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for HMI or SCADA applications.
• Proficiency in software and database diagnosis, including SQL querying.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and a customer‑focused attitude.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to customer sites worldwide.
