Clinical Research Professional – NICU

About the role

The position supports clinical research in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Arkansas Children's Hospital and UAMS. The professional screens potential study participants, obtains consent, and gathers data using the EPIC electronic health record system.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and screen eligible NICU patients for ongoing research studies.
• Obtain informed consent from parents or guardians.
• Extract and enter study data from EPIC into research databases.
• Coordinate with study sites at both UAMS and Arkansas Children's Hospital.
• Maintain compliance with institutional policies, including vaccination requirements.

Required profile

• Current employment by Arkansas Children's Hospital.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States on day one.
• Full COVID‑19 vaccination or approved exemption.
• Ability to work onsite in a NICU environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the EPIC electronic health record system.
