CIB Underwriting & Portfolio Management Analyst

About the role

Santander is seeking a motivated analyst to support its Corporate & Investment Bank underwriting and portfolio management activities. You will work closely with senior underwriters to evaluate, structure, and process corporate loan transactions, contributing to the bank’s credit decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, package, review, and reconcile financial documents for loan proposals.
• Analyze and underwrite corporate loan transactions.
• Conduct economic research to assess transaction feasibility.
• Prepare comprehensive credit packages and present them to the credit committee.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Management or related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience or training.
• Strong analytical ability and proficiency with financial statements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment and collaborate effectively with teams.
