Bilingual Communications Manager (English/Spanish) – Remote

About the role

This senior‑track position leads communications for two linked organisations – the International Association of ESD Professionals (IAESDP) and its flagship program The Strong Side. Working remotely, you will develop and execute bilingual (English/Spanish) communication strategies, with the role evolving into a department‑leadership position as the programme scales.

Key responsibilities

• Design and manage separate communications strategies for IAESDP and The Strong Side.
• Write and distribute press releases, newsletters, stakeholder updates, and campaign content.
• Support the launch of the #FightForward public‑awareness campaign (Summer 2026).
• Build and maintain media relationships with journalists, NGOs, sport organisations, and public‑sector contacts.
• Develop partnership positioning materials for Brazil, Spain, the UK and other markets.
• Ensure consistent brand voice across all channels for both organisations.
• When the team expands, lead the communications department, set strategy and manage direct reports.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in strategic communications, institutional PR or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated ability to run multiple campaigns with distinct goals in parallel.
• Fluency in written and spoken English and Spanish (non‑negotiable).
• Portuguese proficiency is strongly preferred; additional languages are a plus.
• Comfortable with remote work and able to start on July 25, 2026.
