Automotive Service Technician

About the role

Town and Country Ford is seeking a Service Technician to perform vehicle repair and maintenance in line with dealer and factory standards. You will work on a variety of vehicles, ensure quality workmanship, and support apprentice technicians.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and process repair orders, then complete the work efficiently and accurately.
• Diagnose malfunctions, perform repairs, and document all work performed.
• Communicate with the parts department, tag and save warranty parts, and order additional parts as needed.
• Road‑test vehicles or coordinate testing, ensuring customer vehicles are not used for personal errands.
• Supervise any apprentice technicians assigned to you.
• Attend factory‑sponsored training, stay current with technical bulletins, and keep the shop clean and organized.
• Follow all safety policies, report accidents, and comply with hazardous waste regulations.

• Ability to perform vehicle repair and maintenance according to dealer and factory standards.
• Willingness to supervise apprentice technicians when assigned.
• Commitment to follow safety policies and report any incidents promptly.

• Flat‑rate pay ranging from $28 to $40 per hour, based on experience, certifications, and skills.
