Associate IT Onsite Support

About the role

The Associate IT Onsite Support professional provides day‑to‑day technical assistance to faculty, staff, and students on the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences campus. Working within the IT Client Services Campus Projects team, the associate ensures that hardware, software, and network issues are resolved promptly to maintain uninterrupted academic and clinical operations.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver on‑site troubleshooting and repair for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices.
• Assist users with software installations, updates, and configuration of standard applications.
• Support network connectivity issues, including wired and wireless access.
• Document incidents, resolutions, and maintain accurate service logs.
• Collaborate with senior IT staff to implement campus‑wide technology initiatives.

Required profile

• Current enrollment or employment within the University of Arkansas System (student employee, graduate assistant, or staff).
• Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to communicate technical concepts clearly.
• Eligibility to work in the United States on day one of employment.
