Associate Attorney – Real Estate & Business Litigation

About the role

This associate attorney position is with a boutique litigation firm in Tampa, focusing on real estate and commercial disputes. The role offers significant courtroom exposure and the chance to manage a full caseload under the mentorship of seasoned litigators.

Key responsibilities

• Handle real estate, property, and business litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and other substantive legal filings.
• Attend hearings, mediations, depositions, and court appearances with increasing autonomy.
• Conduct legal research and develop case strategy for complex disputes.
• Advise clients on litigation risks, business disputes, and property‑related matters.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of litigation experience, preferably in real estate or commercial litigation.
• Active Florida Bar admission in good standing.
• Strong written advocacy and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast‑moving practice.

Required skills

• Proficiency in drafting motions, briefs, and discovery materials.
• Legal research and case strategy development.
• Courtroom readiness and client communication.
