About the role

The University of Arkansas seeks an Assistant Director of Ticket Operations to lead ticketing activities for its athletics events. This fixed‑term position supports the Athletics Event Services team by ensuring smooth ticket sales, distribution, and customer service for all sporting events.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily ticket sales, distribution, and inventory management for university athletics.
• Supervise ticket office staff, schedule shifts, and provide training on ticketing procedures.
• Coordinate with event planners, security, and marketing to align ticketing operations with event requirements.
• Monitor ticketing performance metrics, generate reports, and recommend process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with university policies, NCAA regulations, and financial controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in sports management, business administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in ticket operations or event services, preferably within a collegiate athletics environment.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage a team.
• Detail‑oriented mindset and ability to work under tight event timelines.

Required skills
