Architect/Designer

About the role

OMA New York is seeking an experienced Architect/Designer to lead the design of diverse public, commercial, hospitality and residential projects. The role involves working from concept through construction, delivering high‑quality architectural solutions in a collaborative, international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop strong concepts, narratives and design strategies in partnership with partners and clients.
• Lead projects through all phases – programming, concept development, documentation and construction.
• Produce, coordinate and supervise technical documentation and construction administration.
• Generate design options using 3‑D modeling and visualization tools while managing material selections and budget constraints.
• Coordinate with external consultants and internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
• Minimum five years of post‑graduate architectural experience.
• Strong conceptual, graphic and design talent demonstrated in a portfolio.
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, international setting.
