APRN/PA – WISL

About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking a qualified Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join the WISL team. This full‑time position supports patient care within a collaborative, academic health‑care environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive clinical assessments and direct patient care under the supervision of attending physicians.
• Develop and implement evidence‑based treatment plans.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and improve health outcomes.
• Document patient encounters accurately in the electronic health record.
• Participate in quality‑improvement initiatives and educational activities.

Required profile

• Current employee of the University of Arkansas System (including student employees or graduate assistants) eligible to work in the United States.
• Valid APRN or PA licensure in the state of Arkansas.
• Commitment to the mission of UAMS and ability to work in a team‑oriented environment.
