About the role
As an Advanced Specialist Product Engineer for Cathodes, you will lead engineering activities across the cathode portfolio, from new design to scale‑up. You will collaborate with global teams in manufacturing, quality, supply chain and marketing to deliver innovative solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Lead product engineering for new cathode designs, product support, and advancement projects while supervising the design engineering team.
- Partner with Manufacturing, Process Engineering, Application Engineering, Quality, Business Supply Chain, Marketing and Global Portfolio Strategy to ensure successful product execution.
- Manage change‑management projects, maintaining detailed technical records, risk assessments and recommendations.
- Oversee prototype and pre‑production builds, including test plans, documentation and readiness for manufacturing scale‑up.
- Support manufacturing improvement initiatives focused on yield, productivity, cost reduction and quality compliance.
Required profile
- Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science or a related discipline (completed before start date).
- Minimum five years of product engineering, materials engineering or manufacturing support experience in private, public, government or military settings.
- At least three years of experience with new product introduction, prototype or pre‑production builds and scale‑up.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
