Advanced Practice RN/PA – Outpatient Medical Weight Management

About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking a qualified Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join its Outpatient Medical Weight Management Clinic. This position provides clinical care to patients pursuing medically supervised weight loss programs.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized weight‑management plans.
• Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment protocols, and coordinate follow‑up care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members, including physicians, dietitians, and behavioral health specialists.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in accordance with university policies.

Required profile

• Current licensure as an APRN or PA in the state of Arkansas.
• Experience in outpatient clinical settings, preferably with weight‑management or metabolic health focus.
• Commitment to patient‑centered care and teamwork.
