Advanced Practice Nurse/Physician Assistant – ENT Clinic

About the role

The Advanced Practice Nurse/Physician Assistant (APRN/PA) will be a vital member of the ENT team at UAMS, supporting physicians with clinic operations, patient assessments, and procedural assistance. This role blends independent clinical decision‑making with collaborative care across inpatient and outpatient settings.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate multidisciplinary care and facilitate timely consults for ENT patients.
• Perform comprehensive health assessments, establish diagnoses, develop treatment plans, and prescribe medications under physician supervision.
• Collaborate with a variety of health‑care professionals, serving as an interdisciplinary consultant and patient advocate.
• Manage post‑procedure immunosuppression, laboratory monitoring, and medication coordination with pharmacists.
• Participate in institutional initiatives, policy development, and quality‑improvement projects.
• Document clinical results in critical‑care systems and perform other assigned duties.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Nursing (APRN) or a Master’s in a PA program.
• Current APRN license (or PA licensure) and Arkansas RN license.
• Minimum three years of nursing experience.
• Proof of legal authority to work in the United States.
