About the role
Under general supervision, the Advanced Manufacturing Instructor will deliver classroom and hands‑on training to prepare students for careers in industrial manufacturing. The role involves developing curriculum, evaluating student progress, and ensuring a safe learning environment at the Currahee Campus.
Key responsibilities
- Develop course outlines, goals, and objectives for the Industrial Manufacturing Program.
- Prepare lesson plans and deliver classroom instruction.
- Evaluate student progress toward learning outcomes.
- Request and maintain supplies, equipment, and inventory.
- Prepare budget requests and manage program resources.
- Assist full‑time faculty with accreditation requirements.
- Maintain documentation, reports, and administrative records.
- Ensure safety and security standards in training areas.
- Collaborate with students, staff, and educators on instructional matters.
- Support recruitment, retention, and job placement initiatives.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s (or Associate’s) degree in Industrial Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant coursework and work experience related to the courses taught.
- Teaching or training experience preferred.
