Admissions Counselor

About the role

The University of Arkansas at Monticello is seeking an Admissions Counselor to join its Admissions Department. In this role you will serve as a primary point of contact for prospective students and their families, guiding them through the enrollment journey.

Key responsibilities

• Manage communication with prospective students via phone calls, emails, and social media platforms.
• Provide detailed information on academic programs, admission procedures, scholarships, and campus resources.
• Maintain current knowledge of admissions policies, program offerings, and financial aid options.
• Assist in planning and executing campus tours, orientation events, and recruitment activities.
• Travel to recruitment events, including evenings and weekends, as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Prior experience in student recruitment, admissions, or enrollment management is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
