About the role
The University of Arkansas System Division of Agriculture is seeking a dynamic Administrative Manager to support the Arkansas Food Innovation Center at the Market Center of the Ozarks. This role will provide leadership for day‑to‑day administrative functions, ensure smooth operations, and serve as a key liaison among faculty, staff, and external partners.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee daily office operations, including scheduling, correspondence, and record‑keeping.
- Coordinate meetings, events, and travel logistics for the Food Innovation Center team.
- Manage procurement, vendor relationships, and inventory of office supplies.
- Support grant administration, budgeting, and financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with university policies and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and distribute internal reports, newsletters, and communications.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in administrative or office management, preferably in an academic or research environment.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Experience using financial or budgeting software.
- Familiarity with grant management systems and university administrative platforms.
